Performance, dance and story telling

Tamara will run a Wānanga for local youth, focusing on sharing visions for the future and what the Rangatahi would like to see for themselves, whanau and community. Using performance, dance and story telling as the creative tool to bring these expressions out. The process and outcome will be documented on film and presented as a short documentary.

Tamara Wharerau has been self-employed in the Arts Television and Film industry for 25 years working as a Makeup Artist, Performing Artist, Set/Costume Designer and Youth Programs Art Director. She is also a children’s fantasy audiobook author, illustrator, singer, song writer, narrator and music producer.
