Creative Henderson-Massey helps local people make creative things happen.
We work with artists, performers, musicians, makers, writers, filmmakers, community groups and anyone with an idea they would like to explore. Your project doesn’t need to be fully formed before you get in touch.
We can help you:
- Develop your idea and work out the next steps
- Apply for funding through our annual funding round
- Find suitable venues and spaces
- Connect with other creatives and community organisations
- Reach an audience and promote your project
- Navigate the practical parts of bringing an idea to life
Some projects need funding. Others simply need the right introduction, advice or opportunity. Whatever stage you’re at, talk to Renée, our Arts Broker and we’ll work out what support would be most useful.

Funding Applications are now Open
Have a creative idea you’d like to bring to life in Henderson-Massey?
Our 2026 funding round is open for projects created in, and with, the local community. We’d love to hear from performers, musicians, artists, makers, writers, filmmakers, community groups and creatives of all kinds.
Your idea doesn’t need to be fully formed. If it’s still just a thought, tell us anyway. Renée can help you develop it, find the right people or venue, reach an audience and work out what support you need.
Funding Closes Friday 4 September 2026 at 5pm.
Projects will take place between October 2026 and June 2027.

Missed the Deadline?
If the timing doesn’t work or the dates don’t suit your project? Get in touch anyway. Part of the Arts Broker’s job is shaping this fund around what you’re doing, rather than the other way round, so if the timing doesn’t fit, tell us and we’ll find a way through. A short email is all it takes.
It all starts with a conversation about what you want to do.
From there, together we work out what advice or support you need.
