Creative Art Classes for Children

Weekend and after school art workshops for Children

Katrina launched her own Art Classes for children in 2020 when Creative Henderson-Massey supported her to apply to Creative Communities Scheme. Since then she has been successful in every round of funding she applies to from CCS. The number of participants has been increasing with each course and feedback very positive. She has regular attendees and classes cater for two group of children, from 5 – 7yrs old and from 8 – 10yrs old. Courses run for 5 weeks.

Katrina is passionate about continuing her courses because she can see the developing social and emotional benefits of the creative outlet she provides for the children who attend regularly. This year Katrina is undertaking a qualification in tutoring Art Therapy. 

ABOUT

Taught by local Massey mother (Russian) who is keen to get established as a “start-up” business in running children’s art therapy workshops. Katrina an accountant by profession and current work, but has seen the benefits of her workshops when teaching her children and friends children so she would like to grow the idea/dream.
