Local dancer Sierra alongside partner and professional photographer Jarad are collaborating with Two4nine Gallery to develop an exhibition. The exhibition will feature the dance photographs and dance film footage which Sierra captured during when working with local students over the last two years on the project called ‘Perspective’. The exhibition is an opportunity to share this with a public audience. The works feature local locations, local people and present a new and artistic perspective on Henderson Massey.
“The Two4nine gallery which is located right next to the Te Atatu South community centre and countdown, is a high foot traffic area and the art work can be viewed even when the gallery is closed by big glass windows in the building. This is a great way to bring high quality art to the local area and showcase our neighbourhood in a positive way” – Sierra Diprose.
Sierra is a professional dancer, creative, and movement educator.
