The online activities include a variety of online shows, sessions through ZOOM which allow artists to directly engage with the wider audience.
Some online sessions are suitable for small group of participants (such as online dance classes & creative sessions), while other events engage up to 100 people per session such as Online Silent Disco Home Edition, Dinner with World Icons and Online Quest Games.
This online events series is a response towards how we can unite against COVID-19. As they can’t bring people together outdoors and connect them to the neighbourhoods, they are taking over the virtual space. They want to share positivity, joy and good energy with our community as we are aware of challenge every family or individual is exposed during these time. Lack of creative leisure time & social cohesion, loss of income make people feel anxious, isolated (not only physically but also socially), bored and lonely.
The Online Events Series are designed to unite people despite any possible physical barriers, limitations and provide them with a safe online space where they can express themselves freely, learn new things, engage with arts & culture and also feel connected, share the sense of community. For the audience, the online programme becomes the playground, online community place, their virtual theatre space, hub of inspiration. While the artists they are bringing on board as a part of collaboration are provided not only with a creative outlet / virtual stage to share their talent, but also an additional way to sustain themselves financially.
